Data protection at Bloonix

The protection of your personal data is a key concern for Bloonix. In this document, we would like to inform you about which personal data Bloonix collects and how this data is processed. If you would like to contact us with a request, you can contact us at info@bloonix.org or using the contact details in the imprint.

Storage of personal data

When you visit Bloonix's websites, information about the visit is stored on our servers. This information includes the IP address, the time, the user agent sent, the referrer and the requested resource. This information is not passed on to third parties and is only stored internally for analysis purposes, for example to evaluate attacks on our servers. The data is completely deleted after 7 days.

Use of Matomo Without Cookies

We use the web analytics tool Matomo to statistically evaluate visitor traffic. Matomo is operated in a privacy-friendly configuration that does not set any cookies.

Instead of cookies, we only collect anonymized access data, including:

* Your anonymized IP address (truncated by the last two octets)
* Date and time of the request
* Browser type and version
* Operating system used
* Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to improve and analyze our web offering. The collected data is not linked to other information or shared with third parties.

If you wish to object to the collection of your data by Matomo, you can enable the "Do Not Track" function in your browser, which will prevent your visit from being recorded.

Cookies

Cookies are only ever used by Bloonix when you log in to the Bloonix customer area with your registered data. There are two cookies that are set by Bloonix. The first cookie contains a session ID that allows you to move around the logged-in area of Bloonix. The second cookie contains information about the language setting. The cookies set are not used for any further data collection. After logging out of the protected area, the cookies are removed. In addition, cookies are stored with a maximum lifespan. If you accidentally log out of the protected area incorrectly, the cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time.

Right to information, deletion and blocking of your data

Under the Federal Data Protection Act, you have a right to information and deletion of your data stored by Bloonix. If legal, contractual or commercial or tax retention periods prevent deletion, your data can only be blocked instead of deleted.

When requesting deletion, please note that we can only remove IP addresses from our log files if we know all the IP addresses you used to visit our websites. Please let us know the IP addresses if you know them. If these are not known, deletion is not possible. Please note that IP addresses are automatically deleted after 7 days.

Changes to this privacy policy

We would like to point out that this privacy policy may be changed due to changes in the law and for a variety of other reasons. We therefore ask you to read this privacy policy regularly.
